WR 06


My name is Jose Salvador. I´m 12 years old and i´m from Molvizar.

 I´ve got one sister. Some teenagers in Spain go to Mediterranean 

institute, but I am in a Mediterranean institute. The Mediterranean

 institute is in Salobreña. I get up at 7.15 in the every day. After 

school, i do homework and then watch TV. Sometimes, I chat online

with my friends. This year, I also plan to take basketball lesson on 

Tuesdays. Do you play basketball?

WR11: DESCRIPTION OF A SPORT

How is volleyball played? Volleyball is a court game between two teams of six players each, played by hitting a ball to the opposite side over a net. When the ball hits the ground or goes out of one side of the court it is a point or an opportunity to serve for the other team. Basic rules of volleyball 1-Volleyball is a team sport that can be played indoors, outdoors and even on the beach (known as beach volleyball). 2-The playing field is a rectangular field of 18m x 9m divided into two parts of the same size by a centre line. It is surrounded by a free zone at least 3m wide on all sides that overhangs the playing area. Three metres from the centre line is the attack line that delimits the offensive zone. 3-The volleyball net is variable in height.
